June 22nd is primary Election Day

PS 186 is a Voting Site.

To ensure the safety of our entire school community, Tuesday, June 22nd will be a REMOTE DAY for ALL Students!

All Students will learn from home on this day.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding!



Important Health Protocols 

Please let us know

* If any of our students tested positive for Covid-19

* If any of our students were exposed to someone who tested positive for Covid-19

*If any of our students have symptoms of Covid-19, such as a fever, chills, shortness of breath, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste/smell, sore throat, congestion, runny nose, nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea.




General Reminders


Our All-Stars should bring mats or towels to school on the days they have dance or yoga.

School begins at 8:30 am and ends at 2:00 pm for all students. 

Line-up for our in-school All-Stars begins at 8:25 am/doors open at 8:30 am and dismissal begins at 1:45 pm.

Please be on time to drop off and pick up your children.

Daily attendance is important.  Avoid having your child report to school /sign on to Google Meets late to ensure the development of good habits.  Students who do not report to school during their scheduled in-person day, will be marked absent according to NYCDOE guidelines (certain exceptions apply, covid related).

The Health Screening must be completed daily by our In-School All-Star students when the building is open and masks must be worn daily and all day long.  The screening has been revised.

Please read the questions in your preferred language and complete the screening accurately.

All adults who drop off and pick up children at PS 186 must wear a mask and follow the social distancing guidelines.  Please avoid gathering in groups to talk inside or outside the schoolyard area.

All Devices should be charged daily.  Headphones should be available for all students.

All students should log in to all Google Meets with their cameras on to participate and interact with their teachers and their classmates. 

Grab and Go Breakfast and Lunch will be available

 from PS 186 daily for all remote students from 

9 am - 12 pm at 77 Street. 

When the school is closed, please visit PS 200, PS 205, PS 247
or New Utrecht High School.

Weekly Covid-19 testing will take place for our All-Star Students.

Please encourage your children to read, read, read each and every day for at least 25-30 minutes, and to log in to i-Ready for reading and math daily so that no child falls behind.
